David W. Hayden Sr., 67, Brownsburg, passed away April 11, 2021. He had been a relief line worker for General Motors. David was a kid at heart and loved toys. He also loved kids and making them smile. As an avid coffee-drinker, his coffee pot was always full and he was always ready with one of his famous jokes or one-liners to bring a smile to your face. His endearing heart and sense of humor will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents Francis A. and Martha Ellen Hayden and a sister Janice Olson. Survivors include sons David Hayden Jr., Erick Hayden and Wes Hayden (wife Jonna); sister Ruth Hayden Burroughs; brothers Francis A. Hayden Jr. and Marvin Hayden; grandchildren E. J. Hayden, Ayden Scott and Alisha Hayden; great grandchildren Carter and Paizlee; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 11 am to 1 pm Friday April 16 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services there at 1 pm. Burial will follow in the Lizton K of P Cemetery.
