Donald Lee Cousins, 76, of Huntsville, died Saturday, April 10, 2021, at Meadowview Healthcare and Rehab, Huntsville.
He was born Sunday, Dec. 17, 1944, in Huntsville, to Troy and Maggie Faye Williams Cousins.
Donald married Elda Kay Laird Cousins on April 14, 1967, in Hindsville and together they were parents to two children. He was a farmer.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, and his siblings, Darrell Cousins, Roger Cousins, and Patsy Cousins.
He is survived by his wife, Elda Cousins of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Tracy and Lucy Cousins of Huntsville; one daughter, Tammy McClendon of Huntsville; one brother and sister-in-law, David and Marla Cousins of Kingston; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Bobby Bolinger of Hindsville, Shirley and Ronnie Walker of Springdale, and Janice and James Bunch of Springdale; four grandchildren, Cody Carlton, Meghen McDonald, Emily Cousins, and Isela Cousins; and six great-grandchildren, Hanna Carlton, Hunter Carlton, David McDonald, Bethany McDonald, Chevy McDonald and Aspen McDonald.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, April 14, 2021, at Ledbetter Cemetery with David Harrison officiating.
Pallbearers were Marvin Cousins, Ottis Cousins, Cory Cousins, Robert Johnson, Effern Mria, and Cody Carlton.
Services were entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
