Mrs. Adolph Schaaf, 82, of 914 Niagara Ave., died Tuesday evening at St. Nicholas Hospital following a brief illness.
A lifelong resident of Sheboygan, the former Rose Barbara Kremer was born June 19, 1895, a daughter of the late Aloysius and Barbara Hutterer Kremer. She attended St. Peter Claver Catholic School.
On March 3, 1919, she married Adolph Schaaf in Sheboygan. The couple celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1969.
Mrs. Schaaf was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and its Ladies Aid Society.
Surviving are her husband; one son, Carlton of Green Bay; a daughter, Mrs. Gilbert (Myrtle) Tank of Sheboygan; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; four brothers, Frank, Joseph and Alex, all of Sheboygan, and Raymond, Milwaukee, arid five sisters, Mrs. Anna Pfister, Mrs. Lawrence Federer, Mrs. Arthur Webb and Miss Isabelle Kremer, all of Sheboygan, and Mrs. Sally Gahagan of Milwaukee.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, one grandson and one brother.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Kroos-Mason Funeral Home, with the Rev. Harvey A. Krueger, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery.
