Mr. Flowers previously was employed with R.F. Patton Construction in Pawnee for 25 years. He also worked for Staab Battery for many years and the Sangamon County Sheriff's Office Posse.
He is survived by his companion, Shirley Behl; five sons; seven daughters; four brothers; three sisters; 24 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
