Funeral services were held at the Church of Christ in Spur, Sunday afternoon, March 30, at 2:45 o'clock for Mrs. Lucille Pearl Wilson, with the minister Howard Peacock officiating.
Burial was in the Spur Cemetery with Campbell Funeral Chapel directing.

Mrs. Wilson who had been ill several weeks died about 3 o'clock in a Lubbock hospital Saturday, March 29, where she had been a patient for about a week.

Mrs. Wilson was born in Jack County, Texas, October 30, 1907 to Mr. and Mrs. John Gragson who also are residents of Spur. (???) November 1, 1924 in Dickens, Texas. She was converted in 1927 and was affiliated with the Church of Christ.

Survivors are her husband, Alvis Wilson, two daughters, Joyce Vernell, who is a student at Abilene Christian College at Abilene and Letha Winona Wilson of Spur and three sons, J.W. Wilson, Alsey Laverne and Coy Lee all of Spur; two brothers, Earnest Gragson of Lubbock and Carl Gragson of Spur; two sisters, Mrs. Ernest Dunaway of Spur and Mrs. Ruth Patterson of Lubbock and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Gragson of Spur.

Pallbearers were Jim Wyatt, John Duncan, Foy Mitchell, Billy Joe Peach, Joe Long and Brink Carlisle.

Flower bearers were Jamie Simmons, Lou Nell Wright, Marjorie Randall, Letha Moore, Rene Dunaway and Anita Reed.
