MRS. SARAH RICE DIES AT HER HOME WEDNESDAY
Mrs. Sarah Rice, 88 years old, died at three o'clock Wednesday morning at the home of Mr. E. F. Pope, her son-in-law, near Bill Arp, after a short illness.
Mrs. Rice was born and reared in Douglas county, and spent all her life here. She was the widow of Mr. J. G. Rice and is survived by one son, J. W. Rice, of St. Petersburg, Fla., and two daughters, Mrs. Charles Enterkin and Mrs. E. F. Pope, both of Douglas county.
Funeral services was held Thursday morning at 11 o'clock at Bright Star church. Rev. J. W. Brinsfield officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery.
