MINERAL WELLS (Spl) — Judy Brooker, 14, of the Whitt community in northwest Parker County, died early today in a hospital here of a gunshot wound in the abdomen.
She was brought to the hospital about 2:40 am by her mother, Mrs. Ansel Lee Foreman, from the Foreman residence two miles southeast of Whitt.
The bullet was from a small-caliber rifle Officers are investigating. No inquest verdict had been returned.
