MARY ELLEN McADON
Our loving Mother, Mary Ellen McAdon, was born to Thomas and Lillian Adams at Pisgah, Iowa July 7, 1899, and departed to be with her Lord August 6, 1978 at eh age of 79 years and 30 days.

She was married to Arl B. McAdon on September 25, 1916, and our parents shared their lives for the next 55 years, less 5 days. They fist lived in Pisgah, Iowa and later moved to Little Sioux, Iowa, where we children were born and grew up. Here the family farmed. They moved to San Mateo, California in 1941 and in 1971 to Dinuba, California.

Mother was a devout Christian and a member of the Presbyterian Church. Our parents took us to Church twice on Sundays and we as a family were regular at attendees’ at all Church services.

Mother was an excellent seamstress and a wonderful cook. She was ever warm, kind and tender to us all, making those of us who married into the family feel fully accepted.

Our Father departed to be with the Lord in September of 1971. Mother’s health had begun failing even before this. She became a resident of the Dinuba Convalescent in a971. Her life has been full and useful and we now relinquish her to God who does all things well. She is presently “absent from the body, present with the Lord.”

Those left to mourn her passing and pay tribute to her life are 5 sons and 7 daughters:

Ronald McAdon, Healdsburg, Ca
Bernard McAdon, Canoga Park, Ca
Frank McAdon, Folsom, Ca

29 Grandchildren

We sorrow but with the hope of seeing our loved one again.
