DEATH OF MRS. GAUNT
Mrs. Pearl Gaunt, wife of W. A. Gaunt, died suddenly at the family home just west of town, July 11th from uremic poisoning. She was a native of Indiana, and was aged 27 years. She leaves a husband and three children.
Mr. Gaunt was absent from home being at Watsonville on the coast when the attack came, and the wife passed away before he could be located in time for him to return. The death takes way an esteemed neighbor and friend, and the community is stricken with sorrow on receipt of the news. The funeral took place today from the family home at 2 o'clock p.m., interment in the Grangeville cemetery.
