Great Grandpa Jerome was a retired farmer and a member of Mt. Carmel Methodist Church. He moved to Madison in 1945. According to a cousin, he had a large Bible that he carried around and often got into debates with his brother Alph. My dad said that one of his favorite things to eat was oatmeal. He said he would eat a full meal and then go make oatmeal.
