Ann Eason Adams, 61, of Robbinsville, NC, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, at her residence.

Ann was the daughter of Virginia Strickland Patton of Robbinsville, NC, and the late Clive Patton. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Bobby Miller.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 42 years, Daniel "Slim" Adams; her daughters, Stephanie Adams of Robbinsville, NC, and Nancy Hughes of Hayesville, NC; her son, Jason Poole of Raleigh, NC; her sisters, Karen Gunter of Knoxville, TN, and Beverly Harrell of Valdosta, GA; her brothers, Billy Ray Miller of Hobart, OK, and Benny Eason of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Her grandchildren are Blade and Tatum Roach, Kahlan Burrell, Leoben Shamblin, Raygan Hughes, and Langston Hughes. Ann also leaves behind several nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm Friday, April 23, 2021, at the Townson-Smith Chapel. Reverend Tom Buchanan will officiate. Burial will follow at Carver Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11 am until 12:00 pm Friday at the Chapel, prior to the service.
