Anna R. Adamek Coleman, 90, of York died of natural causes Monday, July 22, 2002, at Lutheran Village at Sprenkle Drive, York. She was the wife of the late William J. Coleman.
Born Oct. 15, 1911, in Lebanon, she was a daughter of the late Nicholas and Annie Grna Adamek. She retired in 1976 from Danskin. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in York, Sunshine Club and Altar Rosary Society of St. Rose Church, and Knights of Columbus Auxiliary York Council 1530.
Surviving are son William F. Coleman of York; sisters Mary Ogurcak and Sophie Potrok of Lebanon; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by daughter Joan K. Wentz on March 5, 1995.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 2935 Kingston Road, York, preceded by visitation beginning at 9:30. A committal service will follow at 12:15 p.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery, Lebanon. John W. Keffer Funeral Home, York, is handling arrangements.
