David McGuire Sr.
Franklin, WI (formerly Milwaukee, WI & Sun City West, AZ) – Found peace on April 20, 2021 at the age of 83 after a brave battle with Alzheimer's.
David was born on July 17, 1937 in West Allis, WI to David and Cecelia (nee Felsecker) McGuire.
He was a proud retiree of Perlick Corporation after 40 years of service in Sales.
David loved to watch sports. Anytime a Packer, Brewer, Bucks or Badger game was on, he was watching. He especially enjoyed and looked forward to those Packer Sundays, during his time in AZ, with his son David Jr & Family.
While residing in Sun City West, AZ, David was a proud member of the Sun City West Recreation Center Bocce League and proud volunteer of the Sun City Prides who kept their community clean and beautiful.
Survived by his loving children Betsy (Al) Hensel, Cedarburg, WI. Maureen McGuire, Grafton, WI, David Jr. (Natalie) McGuire, Goodyear, AZ, and Kate McGuire, Muskego, WI.
Beloved Grandfather of Amanda (Jeff) Nikolai, Jay Jr. (Jacie) Kula, Jessica McGuire, Brianna, Samantha & David III McGuire, and Dillon Briggs.
Proud Great Grand Father of Liam, Connor and Santiago.
Further survived by his brother Jerry (Jenny) McGuire, Sister-In Law Dee McGuire, and fond nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his Parents. Siblings Marilyn (Gerry) Sentek, Harry McGuire, Rosemary Grota and Patricia Goode.
David was known for his quick wit, infectious smile, and gentle spirit.
Special thanks to the staff of Autumn Leaves-Franklin, Legacy Hospice, and the therapists at TAH.
Graveside service will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery, Milwaukee, WI. Please check back for scheduled date and time.
Memorial Mass and Celebration of Life gathering will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Association, in David's name, are appreciated.
