Interment will follow in the New Forest Cemetery in Forest, Louisiana.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 PM on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Cox Funeral Home, 200 East Noble Street in Oak Grove, Louisiana.
Mr. Puckett passed into eternal life on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at Arbor Lake Nursing and Rehab in Farmerville, Louisiana.
He is survived by his late wife, Katherine Thornton Puckett; father, Morris Puckett; mother, Mattie Jane Puckett; and daughter, Tammy Posey.
He is survived by his wife, Audine (Frith) Yates Puckett of Farmerville, Louisiana; daughter, Kathy Bass of Oak Grove, Louisiana; daughter, Patti Nolan of Oak Grove, Louisiana; step son and his wife Devon and Karen Yates of Farmerville, Louisiana; step son and his wife, Mitchell and Ronda Yates of Calhoun, Louisiana; granddaughter, Brandy Bennett (Billy Joe); granddaughter, Tonya Lancaster (Robbie); granddaughter, Chasta Mayhall (Jonathan); grandson, Paden Posey (Allison); granddaughter, Chelsea Moore (Rick); granddaughter, Callie Bass; 11 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; and a number of step grandchildren.
