Interred November 24, 1918; grave location unknown although thought to be near mother Clara Jane (nee CADY) PRITCHETT and the unmarked grave of father James Dekalb/Decalne (aka J.D) PRITCHETT. See attached death certificate.

Possibly the last known photo of John Lester PRITCHETT taken in 1918 before his death. Also pictured are (left to right) Virginia Lee (nee PRITCHETT) FETTERER, James Lawrence PRITCHETT and Edna Adelle (nee ROBINSON) PRITCHETT (2-LUDDEN). This photo was likely taken in Ajo (Pima), Arizona (AZ) based on information found in Johns WWI Draft Registration (found within these images).

John Lester PRITCHETT is the second son of James D. and Clara Jane (nee CADY), both of whom are also interred in Double (Twin) Butte Cemetery. John died during the Great Influenza Pandemic of 1918. He was born in "New" Tuscarora (Elko), Nevada (NV). Contrary to the information provided by the informant, one Edna Adelle (nee ROBINSON) PRITCHETT, John's wife, John's father James D. PRITCHETT was not born in "West Virginia". James D. was born in southwestern Virginia, 7 Mile Ford, Smyth County. John's mother is Clara Jane (nee CADY) PRITCHETT and she was born in Walla Walla (Walla Walla), Washington (WA). At the time of his death he was residing in a home owned by his mother-in-law, one Mary Adelle (nee PARKS) ROBINSON at 738 West Pierce Street, Phoenix. John and Edna had two children; James Lawrence and Virginia Mae PRITCHETT.
