Mrs. Laura Leah Wehunt, age 48, died January 8 at her home in Hot Springs. Mrs. Wehunt formerly of Yell County had resided in Hot Springs for the past 37 years. She was a member of the Second Baptist Church and the Hot Springs Chapter No. 69, Order of the Eastern Star.
Surviving are her husband, Jake Wehunt; four sons, S. Sgt Perry Jake Wehunt, Camp Chaffee; Glynn Bill, Rex and Max all of Hot Springs; a sister, Mrs. Ray Spencer, Rover, three brothers, Otis, Hays and A. J. Burnett of California and two grandchildren, Ronal Perry and Laura Wehunt.
