LeRoy Bell, 84, of Linesville passed away on Friday, April 23, 2021, at Wesbury United Methodist Retirement Community in Meadville.
Born March 26, 1937, in Grove City, he was the son of Coy and Effie Carter Bell. He married Shirley Temple on November 9, 1957, in Linesville.
He was a graduate of Conneaut Lake High School. He served our country in the United States Army from 1955 until 1957.
LeRoy worked as a heavy equipment operator and a crop farmer. For many years, he served as Summit Township Supervisor.
He was a member of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church in Meadville. Leroy enjoyed traveling with his wife Shirley. Also, in his spare time he enjoyed hunting.
Survivors, include his loving wife of 63 years, Shirley Bell; a daughter, Shelley Primavera and her husband, Michael, of Orange, Connecticut; two sisters, Shirley Calvert and her husband, Charles, and Darie Mae; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Randy Bell; and three brothers, Coy, Kenneth and Robert Bell.
The family will receive friends on Monday 7 to 9 p.m. at ROYAL-COLEMAN FUNERAL HOME, 6028 U.S. HIGHWAY 6, LINESVILLE.
Burial will be private in Evergreen Cemetery in Harmonsburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be Yolanda Barco Oncology Institute, 16792 Conneaut Lake Road, Meadville, Pa 16335.
