Man Killed on Motorbike
ALBERNI, Oct 24 -(CP)-
One man was killed instantly and another seriously injured in a motorcycle-truck collision Friday at Latham and Gertrude here.
Dead is James Harvey Sandberg, 33, of Port Alberni.
Seriously injured was Ralph Sperling, 33, also of Port Alberni, who suffered leg injuries.
Sandberg and Sperling were riding on the motorcycle which was in collision with a truck driven by John Harper, 23, of Port Alberni.
Sperling was taken to West Coast General Hospital for treatment.
