Mary Claire Page Kinchen, age 76, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2020, at Piedmont Newton Hospital in Covington.
Mary Kinchen was born in Scotland, Georgia on March 12, 1944 to the late Otis Eurastice Page and Annie Claire Thomas Page Duval. She was a resident of Shady Dale, Georgia since 1977.
Mary loved being a homemaker, caring for her husband and children. She was an avid reader, loved flower gardening, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Verley Kinchen of Shady Dale; children, Joe Kinchen of Augusta, Faron Kinchen of Laurens, SC, Sherry Hunt of Covington, Todd Hunt of Covington, Raymond Kinchen of Winder, and Judy Hatch of Loganville; grandchildren, Crystal Campbell, Amy Slaughter, Beth Hunt, Mary Beth Hatch, Savannah Hatch, and Addison Hunt; and great-grandchildren, Parker Peel, Aiden Campbell, Aubrey Slaughter, Ashton Campbell, and Ariat Campbell.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, to bring a covered dish and memories and/or pictures to share.
