Final Rites For Charles R. Hodges Held at Hebron

Funeral services were held at Hebron Tuesday afternoon at 4 pm for Charles Ralph Hodges, resident of the county, who died at the Montfort Jones Memorial Hospital, Monday.

The deceased was a member of New Salem Baptist Church & was 20 years old. He had been employed recently in war work at Knoxville, Tenn.

Interment was in Hebron cemetery, Lee Craney Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Rev. Clarence Burden of Winona officated.

Pallbearers were the father & brothers of the deceased: O.L Hodges, Virgil Hodges, Cecil Hodges, Paul Hodges, Randolph Hodges, Roby Hodges, Claude Campbell & Martin Goss.

Besides his parents, Mr & Mrs. O.L. Hodges of Vaiden, Rt. 2, he is survived by 7 brothers, Virgil Hodges, Burns, Tenn; Cecil Hodges, Vaiden; Paul Hodges, Elliott Ray & Roy Hodges with the armed forces overseas, Rudolph Hodges, Kosciusko; Roby Hodges, Vaiden; 3 sisters; Mrs. Claude Campbell, Kosciusko; Mrs. Martin Goss, Vaiden; Mrs. Pauline Collins, Albany, Ga.
