Heart Disease Causes Death of Retired Member of Pharmacy Board.
Dr. Harry Walton Kenner, promient Washington druggist and retired member of the District Board of Examiners in Pharmacy, died yesterday at his home, 1416 Ingraham street, of heart disease. Dr. Kenner who was 71, retired several years ago.
Born in Warrenton, Mo., he came to Washington about 50 years ago after studying in Baltimore and practicing for a short time in New Orleans.
A Mason, he belonged to the National Association of Retail Druggists and the Veterans' Pharmaceutical Association of Washington.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Ada Belle Kenner, five sons, Maj. Albert Kenner, U.S.A., now stationed in the Philippines; Dr. Harry R. Kenner, Dr. Edwin A. Kenner and Malcolm and Rodham Kenner, all of Washington, and two daughters, Mrs. Alfred Stoddard of Chicago and Mrs. Brooke Parkinson of Farmland, N.J. Funeral arrangements have not been completed.
