WEST COXSACKIE – Maryetta Scaglione,84, passed away peacefully at home on April 21, 2021 with her loving family by her side. Maryetta was born in Ravena, NY, the daughter of the late Harriet and William Phillips. She had eight siblings. Maryetta was a wonderful loving mother to seven children. She enjoyed weddings, school sports, school events, births of Grandchildren and Great-grandchildren. Maryetta had been a Girl Scout leader, Sunday school teacher, Ravena Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary member and member of the Ravena Rescue Squad. Maryetta married John J Scaglione in 1982 and enjoyed many years of camping with the Dusty Travelers Group, canoeing, traveling, scenic rides, looking at watercraft on the Hudson River or taking care of family members. They spent many winters in Myrtle Beach, SC.

Maryetta is survived by her Husband, John J. Scaglione; Children (John) Webb, Dorothy (Bryan) LaQuire, Anne (Michael) Currey, Irene (Robert) VanWie, Carol (William) Schreiweis, (Robert) Gardinier, Arthur (Lenda) Lyman and Loretta Collins. Daughters Patricia Webb and Sunshine Mary Gardinier, predeceased; Stepdaughter, Jennifer Ribaudo, predeceased. Grandchildren, Glynis Lyman, William Lyman-Schreiweis, Bryanna Lyman-Schreiweis, Diane (Jesse) Lammers, James (Tammy) Currey, Christopher (Juli) Currey, Laura (Garry) O'Halloran, Lance (Alexandria) Robertson, Lauren (Jose) Maldonado, Jared (Kristina) LaQuire, Brent LaQuire, Tatiana LaQuire, Marjorie Perazzela, Rosemary Webb, Julie Webb, Phillip Gardinier, Timothy Gardinier, Michael (Theresa) Leonard, BrieAnn Leonard, Kendra (Israel) Barber-Smith, Jamie Collins, Justin Collins, Ashley Ribaudo, William Scaglione and 24 Great grandchildren; brother Edward (Billie) Phillips, and many nieces and nephews.
