Services for Martha Ellen "Marty" Leeman, 57, of Logansport, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in First United Methodist Church.
She died at 3:45 p.m. Monday, Jan. 30, 2006, in St. Joseph Hospital, Kokomo.
Born April 6, 1948, in Anderson, she was the daughter of Richard and Winifred Vermillion Wean.
A 1966 graduate of Anderson High School, Marty received her registered nurse degree from Lutheran Hospital School of Nursing in Fort Wayne. Marty was employed as a nurse at Logansport Memorial Hospital.
She was a very active member of First United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday school for a number of years. She recently completed a church mission trip to Guatemala, where she served as a nurse.
Surviving are former husband and lifetime friend, Kelly Leeman, Logansport; one daughter, Sarah Myers and her husband, Jason, Indianapolis; three sons, Tim Leeman, Logansport, Mark Leeman, Bloomington, and Hugh Leeman, San Francisco; one brother, Robert Wean and his wife, Helen, Anderson; one sister, Carol Wean, Anderson; three grandchildren, Blayne and Alivia Leeman and Rager Myers; a niece, Jessica Stoner; a nephew, Jeremiah Wean; and several cousins.
Her parents preceded in death.
The Rev. Bill Shannon will officiate at the services. Burial will be private.
