"Dwayne Lee Keller, 47, 829 Jefferson Street, Covington, died at 7:42 a.m. Tuesday, December 23, 1997 in United Samaritans Medical Center, Logan Campus, Danville, Illinois. He was born July 1, 1950 in Danville, Illinois, the son of Leroy and Dorothy M. Adams Keller. He married Julie Gnagey in March 1980. She preceded in death September 18, 1985.

He graduated from Covington High School in 1968 and attended Purdue two years. He was a resident of Covington most of his life except 10 years in Champaign, Illinois. He was a professional photographer for Olin Mills for eight years. He enjoyed Purdue basketball and was an avid Cubs fan.

Surviving, are: his mother, Dorothy M. Keller, Covington; a brother, Neil Keller, Danville, Illinois; a sister, Cheryl Collins, Oakwood, Illinois; three nieces, Kimberli Keller, Stephanie Keller, Nicole Collins; a nephew, Adam Collins; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Shelby Funeral Home, Covington, with David Greene officiating. Burial was in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Covington." – Fountain County Neighbor, December 30, 1997
