She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church, Jetmore, KS. She enjoyed being involved with 4-H, where she was a leader and was an outstanding seamstress.
On Sept. 20, 1959, she married David E. Whipple in Jetmore, Ks. He survives.
Other survivors include a son, Kyle D. (Valarie) Whipple of Scott City, Ks.; two daughters, Davean L. (Jeff) Cramer of Kinsley, Ks.; DaLena M. (Paul ) Whipple -Miller of Wichita, Ks.; a brother, Bill Bailey of Medicine Lodge, Ks.; four grandchildren, Teryl (Erika) Whipple, Kaytlin (Nick) Biel, Tanner Whipple and Tali Whipple and one great grandson, Harlan Sherrill.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Kyleen Joan Whipple and a brother, John Bailey.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tues. May 4, 2021 at United Presbyterian Church, Jetmore with Dr. Gary Winget and Rev. Mark Durham presiding. Memorials to Hodgeman County 4-H in care of Beckwith Funeral Home.
