Francisco António Pio of Braganza, Prince of Beira (21 March 1795 – 11 June 1801) was the first male son of King João VI and Carlota Joaquina of Spain.
The Prince was born on March 21, 1795, and was titled Prince of Beira and Duke of Barcelos, as heir-apparent to the throne of Portugal. Francisco died of smallpox on June 11, 1801, at the age of six, passing his title as Prince of Beira to his younger brother, the new heir-apparent Infante Pedro de Alcântara, future King Pedro IV of Portugal and 1st Emperor of Brazil.
