Alonzo Randolph Phillips, 72 years of age, passed away at the Veterans Hospital at Papago Park, Phoenix, August 6th. He was a Spanish-American War Veteran.
Son of a Methodist preacher. Mr. Phillips was born in Indianapolis, Indiana. Coming to Arizona when a young man, he spent most of his like in this state.
Surviving Mr. Phillips is wife and relatives at a distance whose names are not available. Funeral services were conducted by R. C. Sell, minister of the First Church of Christ, Saturday, Aug. 9th, at the chapel of Buckeye Funeral Home and interment was in the Hazelton-Butler Memorial Cemetery.
