Susan leaves one daughter, Qwanda Trapps; two sons, Samuel and Gerard Trapps, all of Peoria; three brothers, Jeffrey (Nancy) Wilson of Atlanta, Ga., Daniel and Anthony Wilson, both of Peoria; and one sister, Valarie Wilson of Peoria. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren; her very special friend, James Bradford; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Mary Jane Wilson.
Susan was very devoted to her family and friends. She loved working with people and children, who called her "Mama Susie."
She was a licensed dietary aide and worked at Sharon Healthcare as a dietician and at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in houskeeping.
Susan attended St. Paul Baptist Church.
Susan will be laid to rest at Lutheran Cemetery.
