She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Leffley Palmer; brothers, Norman Cornwell, William Lee Cornwell, Charles Emmitt Cornwell, Alfred Delano Cornwell, Donald Mitchell Cornwell; sisters, Mary Rosalie Flowers, Annie Edith French, Betty Lou Willoughby, and Judith Rose Frost.

A funeral service will be at 12:30 pm on Monday, May 3, 2021 at Bethel Baptist Church. Interment will be in Culpeper National Cemetery.
