Evelyn Alaminsky Vaclavik passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 1, 2021 under Hospice Care at SPJST – Hillje. She was born on April 1, 1930 to the late Theodore and Elizabeth Alaminsky.

She married Jerry Vaclavik on July 30, 1950, who preceded her in death in 1985. Evelyn was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church in Sugar Land and was a devoted Catholic parishioner. She loved to fish, sew, quilt, can pickles and other fruits and vegetables, and was especially known for her beautiful garden that produced lots of vegetables for her family, friends, and neighbors. She also had a secret recipe for delicious meatballs and spaghetti.

Evelyn is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Funeral services will be held at St. John's Catholic Church in Hungerford, Texas on Friday, May 7, 2021, with visitation at 10:00 a.m., Rosary at 10:30 a.m., followed by the funeral mass. The burial will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg.

Pallbearers will be George Burns, Larry Kocurek, Russell Aliminsky, Calvin Sommers, Henry Heitman, Jr. and David Zahn. Honorary Pallbearer is Michael Robert "Bobby" Vaculik.
