Donald E. (Andy) Anderson 77 of rural Marion County, Missouri near Monroe City, passed away Monday, May 20,2019 at the Hannibal Regional Hospital, Hannibal, Missouri. He was born September 22,1941 in Harrisonville, Missouri the son of Leslie Earl and Hazel Irene Loveland Anderson.

Andy was a 1959 graduate of Harrisonville High School, Harrisonville, Missouri. He then graduated from the University of Missouri, Columbia, Missouri with a degree in Animal Science. He was a member of the Garden City Methodist Church of Garden City, Missouri as a young man. He then attended the Prairie View Baptist Church rural Hunnewell, Missouri. Andy was a standout football player at Harrisonville High School and then played for the University of Missouri. He was a lifelong Marion County, Missouri grain and livestock farmer for many years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Shelbina, Missouri. He served as Chairman of the Board for the Marion County Soil Conservation Department. He was a member of the University of Missouri Livestock Judging Team. He enjoyed deer hunting, shooting rifles, working on guns and knives. He was very knowledgeable gunsmith and expert marksman. Andy was a avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.

He married Betty Jean Sparks June 16,1963 at the Prairie View Baptist Church, she survives of the home. Also survived by two sons Donald Ray Anderson of Garden City, Missouri and Leslie Harold Anderson and wife Cynthia of Versailles, Kentucky. Two brothers Kendall Anderson and wife Corelia of Belton, Missouri and Gary Anderson and wife Julie Anne of Butler, Missouri. One sister Marilyn Moreland of Harrisonville, Missouri. Five grandchildren Stephanie Camic and husband Nick, Jennifer Anderson, Ben Anderson, Melissa Anderson and Lindsay Anderson. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
