Capt. Kemble of the steamship Knickerbocker, from Vera Cruz and Havana, reports that during the night of the 27th, L. Ferry Young, a passenger, died. The deceased was a son the late Brigham Young. He was very weak when he came on board the Knickerbocker, and had been unwell for some time. Although the best of treatment was given him, he died the evening after the vessel left Havana. Ferry Young, Mormon missionary, whose death on board the steamer Knickerbocker, while on the way from Havana to New York, has been announced, was a son of the late Brigham Young, and during the last two years had been laboring in Cuba and Mexico for converts to the Mormon faith.
