Gary Roger Hansman, 54, of Zirconia, NC, formerly of Spartanburg, SC, died Wednesday, October 17, 2007.

Born March 5, 1953, in Troy, NY, son of the late Herbert Reeves and Helen Martin Hansman; step-son of the late Richard Kelly.

A self-employed carpenter and contractor, a member of Mudd Creek Baptist Church of Hendersonville, and an avid hunter and outdoorsman.

Survivors include his wife, Cathy Reynolds Hansman; three daughters, Jessica Waddell (Eric), Adrienne Hansman (fiancé Josh), and Angela Brown (Robert); son, Richard Hansman (Carley); stepson, Toby Chandler (Dallas); eight grandchildren; and two expected grandchildren.

Predeceased by two brothers, Herbert Robert and Karl William Hansman.

Visitation was held from 12:30-1:45 PM, Sunday, October 21, 2007, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel.

Memorial service followed at 2:00 PM at the Chapel conducted by the Rev. Lewis Cannon.

Memorials made to Whitten Center, Clinton, SC, or to the charity of one's choice.
