Frederick Boerger, 85, passed away Monday, September 24, 2007, at Morningside Health Center.
Fred was born February 2, 1922 in Sheboygan to the late Charles and Hilda (Lindner) Boerger. He graduated from Central High School in 1940. He then served in the United States Navy from 1945 until 1946. On July 2, 19 he married Margaret Wagner at St. Dominic's Catholic Church. She preceded him in death on August 18, 1999.
Fred was a long time member of First United Lutheran Church in Sheboygan. He was employed by Phoenix Chair Co., and retired from Hayssen Manufacturing.
Fred is survived by his step-daughter Diane (Donald) Bogenschuetz of Sheboygan, Barbara Menzer, step-grandchildren Daniel (Pam) Bogenschuetz, Debra (Tony) Yang, Dawn (Al) Steady, and Dale (Amy) Bogenschuetz, his 10 step-great-grandchildren, and one great-great-step grandchild. He is also survived by sisters Elizabeth Darling of Kiel, and Helen Lenz of Sheboygan, his niece and caretaker Nancy (Donald) Coller of Newton, and many other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by four brothers, and two sisters.
Burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
