Funeral services for Lewis A. Stevens, 82, formerly of 1530 Lippencott Ave., were held at Coldren-Crates Funeral Home, with the Rev. Donald Blanton officiating. Visitation was held at the funeral home. Burial was made in Memory Gardens (Knollcrest), near Arcadia.
Mr. Stevens died at 7:20 p.m. Friday, March 25 at Marlesta Nursing Home.
He was born January 13, 1906 in Biglick Township to Worthy and Sena (Greeno) Stevens. He married M. Beatrice Preston on April 30, 1939, and she died in December 1979.
Surviving are two sons, Gary L. of Findlay; Robert L. of Bloomdale; four daughters, Mrs. Sam (Rose Marie) Jones, Findlay; Mrs. Ted (Rema) Fletcher, Los Alamitos, California; Mrs. Edwin (Nancy) Abell and Mrs. Nathaniel (Mary Ann) Lents, both pf Mayo, Florida; 16 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Jeneva Koebrick, Toledo; and Donedia Soloman, Findlay.
Mr. Stevens was a retired truck driver for Fenberg & Sons. He was a member of the American Motorcycle Association and the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
