Rosa Lee Wells, 81

CHURCH HILL - Rosa Lee Walters Wells, 81, passed away Saturday (October 13, 2007) at her home.

Mrs. Wells was a native of Chattanooga but had spent most of her adult life in Church Hill. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Church Hill where she served as secretary for many years.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Dan Wells; one daughter, Kathy Wells Carter; her parents, James F. and Beulah Henley Walters; brother, Gordan Walters.

She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon and Wally Ford, Weber City; Debbie and Jerry Moore, Mount Carmel; one son, Danny Wells; grandchildren, Breena Reed and husband, Mike, Andrea Ford, Wesley Ford and wife, Emily, Aimee Cogdill and husband, Chris, Jeffrey Moore and wife, Summer, Penny Wells and Roseanne Wells; 4 great grandsons, 5 great granddaughters; one sister and brother-in-law, Katherine and Hollis Fleeman, Clarksville, FL; several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours are from 4:30 to 6:30 P.M. Monday at Johnson Funeral Home.

Services will be conducted Monday at 6:30 P.M. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Gary Gerhardt officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Church Hill Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Wally Ford, Jerry Moore, Wesley Ford, Jeffrey Moore, Mike Reed and Chris Cogdill.

Honorary bearers will be Henry F. Greene, Elton Moore and Don Stanfill.
