Anthony Layne McCowan, passed away on Friday May 7, 2021 in Portland, Indiana.

In honoring Tony's wishes there will be no calling hours or services.

Tony was born in Portland on June 25, 1963 the son of Arthur and Pansy (Billbrey) McCowan.

He went to school in Portland and spent most of his life in Sebring, Florida, recently moving back to his hometown. He worked in sales most of his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Pansy McCowan and siblings Jackie McCowan, Velma DeBoy amd Arthur "Gary" McCowan. He was a devoted father and is survived by his children Bonnie Cullifer (husband Darrell), Megan McCowan, David McCowan, Dylan McCowan and Cynthia McCowan. His siblings Bonnie Pruitt, Donna Pettus, A.L. McCowan, Ron Hudson (wife Debbie), Jan Fulkerson and Larry McCowan. Also his dear friends Elizabeth Moles and Jessica Fisher. Also surviving are his grandchildren Dawson, Daniel, Christian, Autumn, Colton and Emma.
