Better known as Frank, he worked for the Chicago and Alton and worked for the railroad for 60 years, hiring on at an age of 22. born in Zanesville Ohio and lived in Jefferson City Missouri at the time of his death. He was a telegraph operator. He became a member of the Masonic Lodge in 1874. His last assignment was in the local offices at Cedar City and South Cedar Stations as ticket agent. He had married Ella Whitney Wilson in 1920. His first wife Nee Elizabeth Murray of Bowling Green, they were married in 1874 and she died in 1914.
