Mr. Robert P. Campbell, age 71, of Mulberry, FL died of Lou Gehrig's disease Sunday, September 18, 2005 at home. He was born in Quincy, MA on September 14, 1934 and came to Mulberry from Sandwich, MA in 1992. He was a power plant engineer for Commonwealth Energey System at Canal Electric Plant in Sandwich. He was a member of Imperial Lakes Golf & Racquet Club. He was a member of South Florida Cadillac Allante Auto Club. He was a Navy veteran serving as a boiler tender.

Mr. Campbell is survived by his wife of 50 years, Irene Campbell; sons, Dennis P. Campbell, Martson Mills, MA; David G. Campbell, Sandwich; daughters, Diane Webber, Valrico; Sandra Brun, Sandwich; sister, Brenda Cannon, Bridgewater, MA; and seven grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, September 22, 2005 at Gentry-Morrison Dukes-Steen Chapel. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, September 29, 2005 at Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, MA.
