Marvin Ellis Arnett, 85, passed away Monday, May 10, 2021, at home with his family by his side. Mr. Arnett was born October 18, 1935 in Holt Florida, he was a lifelong resident of Okaloosa County. He retired from Vitro in November (1996) as the Department Head after 40 years of service. Marvin attended First Baptist Church of Holt and was a mason at Mt. Ewell Lodge #131 of Baker, Florida since 1958. He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, along with many fish fries with good friends on Yellow River.
Marvin is preceded in death by his parents Carson & Hattie Carr Arnett, siblings, Eugene Arnett, Travis Arnett, Rachel Arnett. Marvin is survived by his wife of 63 years Hattie Carr Arnett, 3 Children, Gwen (Jerry) Lovett, Ken (Karen) Arnett, Marion (Patty) Arnett, six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
