Bethlehem: Frank Sutton, 74, died suddenly Friday, March 26, 1993 in Muhlenberg Hospital Center. He was a metallurgist at Standard Steel of Lewistown. Born Nov. 27, 1918, in Easton, he was a son of the late Frank and Bertha Apgar Sutton. He was a 1936 graduate of Wilson High School and of Lafayette College in 1948. He was an Army veteran of World War II, stationed at Pearl Harbor during the Japanese attack. He was honored with a 50-year commemorative medal in 1991. He was a local musician and played for USO shows overseas. He was a member of the American Legion Post No. 287 of Milroy, Water of the Elks in Lewistown, the American Society for Metals, the New England Railroad Club, the Masonic Lodge in Cantonsville, MD and the Scottish Rite in Harrisburg. He is survived by his wife, Helena Blum Field Sutton; and two sons, David and Craig of Lewistown.
