She worked as a greeter at Super K Mart for many years. Helen loved spending time with her family, playing cards, watching the Tigers, and gardening. She was an independent spirit, who lived according to her own terms, and she will be dearly missed by many.
Helen leaves to morn her children; Michael (Kathy) Napolitan, Denis (Ruth) Napolitan, and Therese (Rick) Ongie; grandchildren; David Rothenberg, Scott (Charmaine) Napolitan, Greg (Kate) Napolitan, Kevin (Andrea) Napolitan, and Danielle (Steve) Hunt; great-grandchildren; Grace and Cole Napolitan, Luke and Nora Napolitan, Andrew and Jared Hunt, Jack and Maggie Napolitan. Also, preceded in death by her son, Gerald. Also survived by, Sister and brother in law, Dorothy (Joe) Anter; sister in law, Helen Johnson; brother and sister in law, Joe and Joann Napolitan. Along with a large number of much loved nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by siblings; Russell Johnson, Marion Cocco, Donald Johnson, and Dwinal (Teet) Johnson.
Visiting hours will be Thursday, May 20 from 4pm to 8pm and Friday 11am to Noon. A private family memorial service will be at noon on Friday May 21 in Jowett Funeral Home, 1634 Lapeer Avenue, Port Huron. Deacon Dennis Crimmins will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
