Avery Lee Almon

Avery Lee Almon, 75, a retired French Camp farmer died Tuesday, November 6 at the Kilmichael Hospital.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Ethel Rogers Almon of French Camp; one daughter, Mrs. Jean Ward of French Camp; one son, Martin L. Almon of Madison; four sisters, Mrs. Marvin James of Cleveland, Mrs. Ruth Goss of Marigold, Mrs. Alma Corley of Kilmichael, and Mrs. Mable Harrison of Pearl; one brother, Upton Almon of Sumner and four grandchildren.

Services were held at Lee Funeral Home. Thursday, November 8 at 10:00 A.M. officiated by Mr. Dan Beardain, Rev. Bill and Rev. Ron McDougal. Burial was in Bethsaida Cemetery with Lee Funeral Home in charge.

Pallbearers were Herschel Stevens, Billy Armstrong, Johnson Stevens, Lewis Ward, Upton Almon, Jr. and Barney Hovas.
