MRS. BRIDGET EDGERTON
Passed Away at Home on North Street Sunday Afternoon
Mrs. Bridget Ellen Edgerton, died at her home on North street Sunday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock after a lingering illness of a complication of diseases. She was 58 years of age.
Mrs. Edgerton was a native of Buskirks Bridge, N.Y. though the greater portion of her life had been passed in Bennington. She was a woman of a high Christian character and one who was highly esteemed by all who knew her. She was of a kindly heart and ever ready to aid a friend.
Surviving is one daughter, Mrs. Frederick C. Koons, with whom she resided, one sister, Mrs. Joseph Dowd of Broadbrook, Conn., and five brothers, John, James, Dennis Toomey of Bennington, William Toomey of Amsterdam, N.Y., and Thomas Toomey of Wilmington.
The funeral will be held from The Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock, Rev. C. E. Prevost, officiating.
