Geo. Bacon died at his home in this city Wednesday, June 5th. He had been a sufferer with consumption for a long time and had gradually grown weaker but was around as usual on Tuesday and his death was sudden and unexpected at that time. He was 41 years old and had lived in Neosho about 11 years. The funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at the M.E. Church, south, and were conducted by Rev. W. D. Matthews.
