He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Barngrover and Eleanora Slagel Barngrover; son, Michael Barngrover; and brother, Russell Barngrover.
Survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Teresa D. Barngrover; children: Nicole Wetwiski (Bobby) and Jimmy Barngrover (Sandy); grandchildren: Samantha Wetwiski, David Barngrover, Frankie Barngrover, and Jimbo Barngrover; sister-in-law, Jen Barngrover; cousins: Carol Slagel, Melissa and Michelle; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins who he loved dearly.
Frank was a proud Veteran and served as a diver in the United States Navy and worked all of his life as a Machinist. He loved fishing and being with his family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 21, 2021, at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA 70001, from 9:00a.m. until 11:00 a.m. A Catholic Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery with Military Honors.
