Eugene Randall Adams, Jr., 77, of Rock Hill, SC passed away on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at Levine and Dickson Hospice in Charlotte. A native of Asheville, he was son of the late Eugene Randall Adams, Sr. and Hilda Brownlo Adams. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Christine Adams in August 2018; son, Matthew Adams in August 2002; brother, Houston Adams and sister, Gayle Blevins.

Mr. Adams served our country in the United States Navy. After his honorable discharge from the service, he began a lifetime career with Southern Bell. Starting as a lineman and worked in many different positions over the years. He was instrumental in helping many homes obtain internet through electronic switching.

He is survived by his son, Jerry Adams and his wife, Melanie of Monroe; two grandchildren, Joshua Adams and his wife, Lauren and Emma Adams all of Monroe; three brothers, Lee Adams, Joe Adams and Martin Adams all of Asheville and great-granddaughter, Carter May Adams.

A Cryptside service will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 22, 2021 at the Wells Chapel of Faith Mausoleum at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
