Mrs. Christine Inman Adams, 74, passed away Friday, August 10, 2018 at her home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Candler, NC with Rev. Jerry Nelson officiating. Mrs. Adams was a native of Haywood County, NC and the daughter of the late Robert Stringfield Inman and Easter Gay Price Inman. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Waynesville, NC and Park Ridge Baptist Church in Rock Hill. She retired from AT&T as an accounts receivable manager. Mrs. Adams was one of the first female volunteer firefighters and paramedic in Mecklenburg County. Mrs. Adams is survived by her husband, Gene Adams; their son, Jerry Adams (Melanie) of Unionville, NC; her brothers, James Inman, Harrison Inman, and Dee Inman; her sister, Barbara Hoglan all of Waynesville, NC; and two grandchildren, Joshua Adams and Emma Adams. She was preceded in death by a son, Matthew Randall Adams; a brother, Lee Inman and a sister, Dorothy Jean Riddle.
