Bennie "Poet" Gayoso was born Aug. 28, 1953, in Dallas, to Bennie Lee and Josephine Patterson Gayoso. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of the Ghostriders M.C.

Survivors: Daughter, Tiffany Gayoso and her son, Kelton Gayoso, both of Flower Mound; five sisters; and three brothers.
