Marilyn Jane Miller, 64, of Eufaula, Oklahoma, passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2021, at her home. Marilyn was born on May 6, 1957, in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Marvin Roie and Ruby Louise (Hill) Tate. She graduated from Hanna High School in 1975. Marilyn worked as the supervisor over housekeeping for Fountainhead Lodge for twenty-five years. She then worked for the Mitchell Manor and McAlester Nursing Center. In her spare time, Marilyn worked as a bartender at the Eufaula VFW. Marilyn was married to Glen Hampton for 4 1/2 years. She then married Millard Lee Arterberry for sixteen years. Marilyn then married Michael Miller and was married to him for fifteen years. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary and the Hanna Assembly of God Church. Marilyn enjoyed fishing, gardening, knitting, yard work and taking care of animals.
Survivors include: her son, Brandon Hampton and wife Jennifer of Eufaula; her daughter, Bridgett Downum of Eufaula; brothers, Richard Tate and wife Karen of Hanna and Burt Tate & wife Renee of Eufaula; her sisters, Glennie Lambert and husband Jeff of Eufaula, Lois Edward and husband Jim of Hanna, Cynthia Pearce of Colby, KS and Janet Upton of Eufaula; five grandchildren, Lily, Jill, Sally, Jade and CJ and one great grandchild, Wrenley. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Millard, Glen & Mike; a brother, Junior Roy Tate and a sister, Mary Beshear.
